Welcome to RingsADay. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RingsADay mobile application and related services. By downloading, accessing, or using RingsADay, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our app.

By using RingsADay, you confirm that:

• You are at least 13 years old (or 16 in the European Economic Area)
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws
• You have read and understood our Privacy Policy

RingsADay is a habit tracking and timer application available for iOS and Apple Watch. The service includes:

2.1 Free Features

• Create and track up to 3 timer-based goals
• Basic timer functionality (count up, count down, counter)
• Daily progress tracking
• iPhone and Apple Watch sync
• Anonymous account with cloud backup

2.2 Premium Features

• Unlimited goals
• Custom categories and organization
• Advanced statistics and insights
• Goal reminders and notifications
• Priority customer support
• Additional features as they become available

3.1 Account Creation

RingsADay creates an anonymous account for you automatically when you first use the app. You may optionally upgrade to email authentication for enhanced security and account recovery.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.3 Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be removed from our servers within 30 days.

RingsADay offers premium subscriptions through Apple's In-App Purchase system. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms:

4.1 Subscription Plans

We offer monthly and annual subscription plans. Pricing is displayed in the app and may vary by region.

4.2 Billing and Auto-Renewal

• Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• The renewal cost will be the same as the original subscription price unless you are notified otherwise

4.3 Managing Subscriptions

You can manage and cancel your subscription by:

• Going to your iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
• Selecting RingsADay and tapping "Cancel Subscription"
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

4.4 Free Trials

If we offer a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription. You must cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged.

4.5 Refunds

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple, not to RingsADay. We cannot issue refunds directly. For more information, visit Apple Support.

4.6 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current subscription period and will only apply upon renewal after notification.

When using RingsADay, you agree NOT to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use the app to transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the app
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent free tier limitations
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the app for any commercial purpose without our written consent

6.1 Our Rights

RingsADay, including all content, features, functionality, software, trademarks, logos, and design, is owned by ringsaday.app and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

6.2 License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download and install the app on devices you own or control
• Use the app for your personal, non-commercial purposes
• Access the features and functionality as intended

6.3 Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright or trademark notices
• Create derivative works based on the app
• Use the app's name, trademarks, or branding without permission

7.1 Ownership of Your Data

You retain all ownership rights to your habit data, goals, progress records, and other content you create in RingsADay ("User Content").

7.2 License to Us

By using RingsADay, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your User Content solely to provide the app's functionality (cloud sync, backup, device synchronization). We will not use your User Content for any other purpose without your consent.

7.3 Data Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy and content of the data you enter into the app. RingsADay is a tool to help you track habits but does not guarantee habit formation or any specific outcomes.

7.4 Data Deletion

You may delete your User Content at any time through the app. Deleted content is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• Guarantees that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Guarantees that defects will be corrected
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content or data
• Results from using the app (habit formation, productivity improvements, etc.)

Third-Party Services: The app integrates with third-party services (Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple). We are not responsible for their performance, availability, or policies.

Internet Connectivity: Cloud sync and certain features require internet connectivity. We are not liable for issues arising from connectivity problems.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RINGSADAY.APP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE.

This includes but is not limited to damages arising from:

• Use or inability to use the app
• Data loss or corruption
• Errors, bugs, or interruptions in service
• Unauthorized access to your account or data
• Third-party services or integrations
• Reliance on any content or functionality

Maximum Liability: In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ringsaday.app, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the app
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
• Your User Content or data
• Any unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to maintain security

11.1 Termination by You

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. If you have an active subscription, cancellation instructions are in Section 4.3.

11.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to RingsADay at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or prolonged inactivity.

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your license to use the app immediately ends
• Your User Content will be deleted within 30 days
• You will no longer have access to premium features (if applicable)
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law

11.4 Surviving Provisions

Sections 6 (Intellectual Property), 8 (Disclaimers), 9 (Limitation of Liability), 10 (Indemnification), and 13 (Governing Law) survive termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify you via in-app notification or email (if provided)
• Request your consent if required by law

Your continued use of RingsADay after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the app and delete your account.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ringsaday.app operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

13.1 Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from these Terms or the use of RingsADay, you agree to first attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting us at info@ringsaday.app.

13.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

13.3 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ringsaday.app regarding the use of the app and supersede all prior agreements.

13.4 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
